12 Bit Analog to Digital Converter 1 Input 1 SAR 28-PDIP
The MX574AJN+ is an industry standard, complete 12bit analogue to digital converter in 28 pin DIP package. It is a complete 12bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) that combine high speed, low power consumption and on-chip clock and voltage reference. Maxim"s BiCMOS construction reduces power dissipation 3 times (150mW) over comparable devices. The internal buried zener reference provides low-drift and low noise performance. External component requirements are limited to only decoupling capacitors and fixed resistors. The versatile analogue input structure allows for 0 to +10V or 0 to +20V unipolar or ±5V or ±10V bipolar input ranges with pin strapping. The MX574A use standard microprocessor interface architectures and can be interfaced to 8, 12 and 16bit wide buses. 3 state data outputs are controlled by chip select, chip enable and read/convert logic inputs. Typical applications include DSP, high-accuracy process control, high speed data acquisition and electro-mechanical systems.
The ADS8504 is a complete 12-bit sampling A/D converter using state-of-the-art CMOS structures. It contains a complete 12-bit, capacitor-based, SAR A/D with S/H, reference, clock, interface for microprocessor use, and 3-state output drivers. The ADS8504 is specified at a 250-kHz sampling rate over the full temperature range. Precision resistors provide an industry standard ±10-V input range, while the innovative design allows operation from a single +5-V supply, with power dissipation under 100 mW. The ADS8504 is available in a 28-pin SOIC package and is fully specified for operation over the industrial -40°C to 85°C temperature range.
