Adjust the voltage level of your devices with this step down LT3972IMSE#PBF DC to DC converter from Linear Technology. This converter"s single output can produce a current up to 3.5 A. It only needs a voltage of at least 3.6 V while not exceeding 33 V to effectively power your circuit. With an adjustable output that has a voltage of 0.79 to 30 V, this is power management at its best. Its switching regulator has a frequency of 200 to 2700 kHz. This converter has a minimum operating temperature of -40 °C and a maximum of 125 °C.
The LT3972EMSE#PBF is a 2.4MHz step-down Switching Regulator with 75µA quiescent current accepts input voltages up to 33V (62V Maximum). A high efficiency 95mR switch is included on the die along with a boost Schottky diode and the necessary oscillator, control and logic circuitry. Current mode topology is used for fast transient response and good loop stability. Low ripple Burst Mode® operation maintains high efficiency at low output currents while keeping output ripple below 15mV in a typical application. In addition, the LT3972 can further enhance low output current efficiency by drawing bias current from the output when VOUT is above 3V Shutdown reduces input supply current to less than 1µA while a resistor and capacitor on the RUN/SS pin provide a controlled output voltage ramp (soft-start). A power good flag signals when VOUT reaches 91% of the programmed output voltage.
