    LM2931ACDG Product overview

    The LM2931ACDG is an adjustable output LDO Voltage Regulator specifically designed to maintain proper regulation with an extremely low input-to-output voltage differential. This device is capable of supplying output currents in excess of 100mA and features a low bias current of 0.4 at 10mA output. Designed primarily to survive in the harsh automotive environment, this device will protects all external load circuitry from input fault conditions caused by reverse battery connection, two battery jump starts and excessive line transients during load dump. It also includes internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and is able to withstand temporary power-up with mirror-image insertion. Due to the low-dropout voltage and bias current specifications, it is ideally suited for battery powered equipment where an extension of useful battery life is desirable. The C suffix adjustable output regulator features an output inhibit pin which is extremely useful in microprocessor-based systems.

    The LM2931CDR2G is a 100mA, adjustable output, LDO voltage regulator with 60V load dump protection in 8 pin SOIC package. It is specially designed to maintain proper regulation with an extremely low input to output voltage differential. This device is capable of supplying output current in excess of 100mA and features a low bias current of 0.4mA at 10mA output. Designed primarily to survive in the harsh automotive environment, this device will protect all external load circuitry from input fault conditions caused by reverse battery connection, two battery jump starts and excessive line transients during load dump. This series also includes internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and additionally, is able to withstand temporary power up with mirror image insertion.
