    ICM7556ISD+ Product overview

    The ICM7556ISD+ is a general purpose timer in 14 pin NSOIC package. This dual general purpose RC timer is capable of generating accurate delay or frequency. The primary feature is an extremely low supply current, making it ideal for battery-powered system. Additional features include low threshold, trigger (complementary), reset (complementary) currents and improved performance at high frequency. This CMOS low power device offers significant performance advantage over the standard 556 bipolar timer. The low power consumption combined with virtually non- existent current spike during output transitions making timer the optional solution in many applications. It is used in pulse generator, precision timing, pulse width modulation, pulse position modulation, sequential timing and missing pulse detector.
