The 0603YC104KAT2A is a Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor with Ni/Sn-plated termination, X7R dielectric and 0603 case. A multilayer ceramic (MLC) capacitor is a monolithic block of ceramic containing two sets of offset, interleaved planar electrodes that extend to two opposite surfaces of the ceramic dielectric. X7R formulations are called temperature stable ceramics and fall into EIA class II materials. X7R is the most popular of these intermediate dielectric constant materials. This capacitance change is non-linear. Capacitance for X7R varies under the influence of electrical operating conditions such as voltage and frequency. X7R dielectric chip usage covers the broad spectrum of industrial applications where known changes in capacitance due to applied voltages are acceptable.
The Yageo CC series capacitors are Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCC) with Class 2, X7R dielectric material used for general purpose applications. These capacitors consist of a rectangular block of ceramic dielectric materials that contains number of interleaved metal electrodes. This structure gives rise to a high capacitance per unit volume. The inner electrodes are connected to the two end terminations and covered with a layer of plated tin (NiSn).
