The AM26LS31CN is a quadruple differential Line Driver designed to meet the requirements of ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU (formerly CCITT) Recommendation V.11. The 3-state outputs have high-current capability for driving balanced lines such as twisted-pair or parallel-wire transmission lines and they are in the high-impedance state in the power-off condition. The enable function is common to all four drivers and offers the choice of an active-high or active-low enable (G, G) input. Low-power Schottky circuitry reduces power consumption without sacrificing speed.
The DS34LV87TM/NOPB is a quad enhanced CMOS differential Line Driver meets the requirements of both TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU-T V.11. It features low static ICC of 100µA maximum which makes it ideal for battery-powered and power conscious applications. The tri-state enable, EN, allows the device to be disabled when the device is not in use to minimize power. The dual enable scheme allows for flexibility in turning devices on or off. Protection diodes protect all the driver inputs against electrostatic discharge. The driver and enable inputs (DI and EN) are compatible with LVTTL and LVCMOS devices. Differential outputs have the same VOD (>=2V) ensure as the 5V version. The outputs have enhanced ESD protection providing greater than 7kV tolerance.
