The 24AA01T-I/OT is a 1Kbit I²C™ Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-only Memory (EEPROM). The device is organized as one block of 128 x 8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. Low-voltage design permits operation down to 1.7V with standby and active currents of only 1µA and 1mA, respectively. The 24XX01 also has a page write capability for up to 8bytes of data. The 24XX01 supports a bidirectional, 2-wire bus and data transmission protocol. A device that sends data onto the bus is defined as transmitter, while defining a device receiving data as a receiver. The bus has to be controlled by a master device which generates the Serial Clock (SCL), controls the bus access and generates the Start and Stop conditions, while the 24XX01 works as slave. Both master and slave can operate as transmitter or receiver, but the master device determines which mode is activated.
EEPROM Memory IC 1Kb (128 x 8) I²C 400kHz 900ns SOT-23-5
The CAT24AA01TDI-GT3 is a 1KB I2C CMOS serial EEPROM in 5 pin SOT-23 package. It is internally organized as 128 x 8bits. The device features 16byte page write buffer and supports standard (100KHz), fast (400KHz) and fast-plus (1MHz) I2C protocols. In contrast to the CAT24C01, the CAT24AA01 has no external address pins and it is therefore suitable in applications that require a single CAT24AA01 device on the I2C bus. It incorporates power-on reset (POR) circuitry which protects internal logic against powering up in wrong state. The device will power up into standby mode after VCC exceeds POR trigger level and will power down into reset mode when VCC drops below the POR trigger level.
