Product Overview
The TPS709 series of linear regulators are ultralow, quiescent current devices designed for powersensitive applications. A precision band-gap and error amplifier provides 2% accuracy over temperature. Quiescent current of only 1 µA makes these devices ideal solutions for battery-powered, alwayson systems that require very little idle-state power dissipation. These devices have thermal-shutdown, current-limit, and reverse-current protections for added safety.
This blog will introduce TPS70950DBVR systematically from its features, pinout to its specifications, applications, also including TPS70950DBVR datasheet and so much more.

TPS70950DBVR FAQ
What is a voltage regulator do?
A voltage regulator generates a fixed output voltage of a preset magnitude that remains constant regardless of changes to its input voltage or load conditions. There are two types of voltage regulators: linear and switching.
What are the three 3 basic types of voltage regulators?
There are three types of Switching voltage regulators: Step up, Step down, and Inverter voltage regulators.
What happens when a voltage regulator fails?
There are many reasons your car's battery might be dead, and one of them happens to be a broken voltage regulator. This is because when this part burns out, the battery will no longer charge, meaning it will eventually die.
