ISO124P Product Overview

A unique duty cycle modulationdemodulation approach is used in the ISO124P, a precision isolation amplifier. Digitally, the signal is sent over a capacitive barrier with a 2-pF difference. Digital modulation provides excellent reliability and good high-frequency transient immunity across the barrier since the barrier properties have no impact on the signal integrity. The plastic body of the package has embedded pieces of both barrier capacitors.

 

Utilizing the ISO124P is simple. There are no additional parts needed for functioning. The main requirements are a maximum nonlinearity of 0.010%, a signal bandwidth of 50 kHz, and a VOS drift of 200-µV/°C. The ISO124P device is an excellent option for a variety of applications thanks to its quiescent currents of ±5 mA on VS1 and ±5.5 mA on VS2, as well as its ±4.5 V to ±18 V power supply range.

 

The ISO124P is offered in plastic surface-mount packaging with 16-pin PDIP and 28-lead SOIC connectors.
