ADS1115 is a 16-bit ADC converter with IIC interface introduced by Texas Instruments. It has an ultra-small X2QFN or VSSOP package, low power consumption (20uA), wide voltage input 2.0V-5.5V, programmable data conversion rate 8SPS-860SPS, four single-ended inputs or two differential inputs. It can be used in battery voltage and current detection, low-speed portable meters, and temperature measurement systems.

ADS1115 Advantage

The ADS1115 is an Analog to Digital (ADC) device that is driven by the i2C Protocol. The ADS1115 is a precision analog to digital converter with 16bits of resolution in an ultra-small leadless (QFN) and on an MSPO-10 package. The ADS1115 is designed with precision, power, and simplicity in mind. This device includes an on-board reference and oscillator. Data will be communicated via an i2C serial interface, and four slaves can be connected based on i2c address selection. These devices operate on a voltage range of 2.0v to 5.5v.
